Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in the north and east King County, WA. With service centers in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline and Sno-Valley (Carnation), we are the largest nonprofit organization in the area. Hopelink programs and services focus on five key areas: food, financial assistance, housing & family development, adult education & employment and transportation/mobility. Programs are aimed at helping people achieve stability, and helping them gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.

Hopelink has immediate openings for DART Community and Shuttle drivers throughout King County at our Kent and Kirkland, WA location. This position will operate days, evenings and weekends on a fixed route with a flexible service area.

Summary: The Customer Service Representative works closely with clients over the telephone in a nonprofit call center environment to determine eligibility for transportation and other services. Join a team of co-workers passionate about Hopelink’s vision to end poverty and promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community.
The Customer Service Representative accurately configures account information in the database, and develops an appropriate solution with the client to meet to their needs. Serves as first level of client complaint resolution.
Summary: The Client Resource Specialist is one of the first points of contact at the Service Center’s Front Desk, and is responsible for warmly greeting and welcoming all visitors in a fast paced, often busy environment. They provide excellent customer service to clients, donors, visitors and staff, and are critical to ensure smooth operation of the center. This position requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve, be flexible, stay calm under pressure and deescalate issues when necessary. Must be comfortable working with individuals who demonstrate extreme or unpredictable behavior related to various kinds or crisis or trauma including substance abuse, mental health disorders, and/or homelessness.
Summary: The Seattle Off-Site Hospital Transportation Coordinator (OTC) works with Seattle’s largest hospitals onsite. The OTC manages reservations and screening online and over the phone and has direct interaction with Hopelink’s subcontracted service providers. The OTC will work directly with the public and will be stationed primarily at facilities contracting with Hopelink for on-site services. The OTC position will also rotate through the Bellevue Transportation office.

Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager in the Transportation Brokerage, the Customer Service Center Supervisor will be responsible for the hiring, scheduling, and supervision of Customer Service Representatives. The Customer Service Supervisor team is responsible for assuring the Customer Service Center (call center) meets contractual requirements under Hopelink’s contract with the Health Care Authority (HCA) for Medicaid transportation. The Customer Service Supervisor is a critical role; providing independent problem solving and a sense of ownership for the success of the team and success of the call center. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, supervisory experience, and an accountability mindset towards inspiring staff and achieving team goals.
Summary: Hopelink is in search of an Automotive Service Technician who is driven and brings a strong work ethic to the team! This position will perform work in the diagnosis, repair and service of automobiles, medium and heavy-duty trucks, buses and related equipment with gasoline and diesel engines. This role is also responsible for preventive maintenance inspections and related repairs.
Summary: The Eligibility and Resource Specialist (ERS) meets with a high volume of clients one-on-one, determines client eligibility, and enrolls clients to receive Financial Assistance and Food Bank Services. ERS staff are responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into our Client Track database. They provide excellent customer service to all who walk through the door and respond promptly to phone and e-mail inquiries. This position requires the ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure and deescalate issues when necessary. ERS must be comfortable working with families and individuals that may be in crisis, suffer from mental illness, and/or are experiencing homelessness.
Summary: The (ON DEMAND) Shuttle Van Driver provides safe, courteous and on-time transportation to customers in vans, minibuses or small buses, adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining schedules/routes. The driver communicates respectfully while providing excellent customer service to passengers. The Shuttle Van Driver must meet these qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years old at the time you apply
• Hold a valid Washington driver’s license, have a minimum of two years of experience providing customer service to the general public
• Have an acceptable good standing driving record at the time of offer
• Have reliable transportation to work
• Be able to speak and write in English
• Have an acceptable work history and employment reference and good driver's record
Be available for early morning and late afternoon shifts.
Summary: Hopelink’s Mobility Management team empowers people to change their lives by facilitating access to the community. We do this by (1) supporting the coordination of special needs transportation through cross-sector collaborations to improve transportation services and (2) providing travel education and resources to build awareness of existing transportation options. We work to make it easier for all people to get around King County through innovative, entrepreneurial, collaborative problem solving.
The position provides staff support to the Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition, including coordinating transportation initiatives and assisting with education and outreach in Snoqualmie Valley. The Mobility Coordinator advocates for those who need transportation, facilitates discussion, teaches, connects and partners with organizations to champion transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, self motivated, and posses an enterprising spirit and passion for making an impact in the local community.
